Metal microspheres have unique properties. Our proprietary microfabrication
technology enables precision microspheres of a variety of metals and their alloys:
tungsten, gold, silver, indium, tin, nickel and many more.
Metal-coated microspheres have gained acceptance due to the combined benefit
of precision dimension and unique combination properties, especially in the area
of advanced electronics. Silver, nickel and gold are the most common coatings for
microspheres (i.e. single layer or multiple layer coating).

Many applications require high silica or pure silica while silicate glass microspheres
have maximum silica content at about 80wt% silica (Pyrex). The most common
silicate glass microspheres usually have 60-75wt% silica (window glass).
Our high silica microspheres have at least 98wt% silica. High silica glass microspheres
are typically sodium-free and boron-free; both conditions are extremely important for
certain applications (e.g. electronics). In addition, major properties of high silica glass
